LaMoille High School Christmas for Kids
LaMoille High School is sponsoring the Christmas for Kids Toy Drive.  They will be offering 1/2 price admission to anyone that brings a gift for the December 1st game with the Lions.  The items are for anyone but ages 9 to 13 seem to have the biggest need.    Suggested items are:  T-shirts and sports shirts youth large to adult large; sweathirts and sweatpants youth large to adult large; book bags; books-young adult series; socks, winter hats, scarves, mittens; board games and card games; sports balls, frisbees; purses, fingernail polish and lip gloss.

Senior Citizen's Dinner

Woodland CUSD#5  will be hosting their Senior Citizen's Dinner on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 1:00pm.  The dinner is open to anyone 62 years of age or older living in the Woodland School District.  Please call 815.672.5974x2 for reservations no later than November 25, 2015.

Schwan's Cares

Children's Orthopedic Clinic

The Streator Elks Lodge in conjunction Dr. Roy will be providing a free orthopedic clinic on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.  For appointments please contact the Elks Children's Care Program at 1.800.272.0074 weekdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Community Eligibility Program
We are pleased to inform you that Woodland CUSD#5 will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2015-2016.  Schools that participate in the CEP are able to provide healthy breakfasts and lunches each day at no charge for ALL students enrolled in that CEP school during the 2015-2016 school year.  If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at 815.672.5974.


To ensure the safety of your child we will no longer be able to make changes in transportation after 2:15pm.  Preferably make arrangements for your child to ride the bus or be a car rider before school each day.  Changes in transportation will not be made after 2:15pm.

ALL Student and Public Access to the Building is from the Front Two Entrances
Please be reminded that there is NO student or public access from the back of the building.  All non-school personnel must use the front parking lots and front entrances to enter the building on school days.  Also, the doors will not be opened prior to 7:35am unless your child is meeting with a teacher.
