The Board of Education of the Woodland Community Unit School District #5 will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 5:50 PM in the teacher workroom at the Woodland Community Unit School District #5 building located at 5800 E. 3000 North Road, Streator, IL 61364.

The purpose of said hearing will be to receive public comment on a proposed waiver application for the Administrative Cost Cap Waiver

Children's Orthopedic Clinic
The Streator Elks Lodge in conjunction Dr. Roy will be providing a free orthopedic clinic on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.  For appointments please contact the Elks Children's Care Program at 1.800.272.0074 weekdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Craft and Vendor Show
Student Council will be hosting a Craft and Vendor Show on Saturday, November 7 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.  CLICK HERE for more information and an entry form.  All entries need to be returned with fee no later than October 9, 2015.

Community Eligibility Program

We are pleased to inform you that Woodland CUSD#5 will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2015-2016.  Schools that participate in the CEP are able to provide healthy breakfasts and lunches each day at no charge for ALL students enrolled in that CEP school during the 2015-2016 school year.  If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at 815.672.5974.


To ensure the safety of your child we will no longer be able to make changes in transportation after 2:15pm.  Preferably make arrangements for your child to ride the bus or be a car rider before school each day.  Changes in transportation will not be made after 2:15pm.

ALL Student and Public Access to the Building is from the Front Two Entrances
Please be reminded that there is NO student or public access from the back of the building.  All non-school personnel must use the front parking lots and front entrances to enter the building on school days.  Also, the doors will not be opened prior to 7:35am unless your child is meeting with a teacher.
