Parent Teacher Organization
Our Mission
It is a goal of this organization to enhance the educational experience of our children. We work to achieve this through programs, projects, events, parties, support, ideas, dialogue and many times a lot of hard work. Education is much more than sending our children to the school building each day during the school year. The education of our children is an ongoing, involved experience at home and at school. The PTO works to develop that experience and bring together the many special people who collaborate their unique and diverse talents for the good of our children.
Our Meetings
PTO meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month except December during the school year in the Woodland library/media center at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are typically limited to one hour and child care is provided free of charge. Please join us! We'd love to hear your ideas!

Mission Playground 2009...Update
After nearly 25 years, Woodland School's old "Woods" playset was retired and new playground equipment erected in the summer of 2009. There were many, many little (and big) faces expressing sheer delight as students explored a new playground experience.
PTO again thanks its incredible supporters and volunteers of this project!
PTO has paid $31,000 to date and will make the final payment in November 2011 to COMPLETE MISSION PLAYGROUND 2009!
One person cannot do it alone - it takes
a TEAM of wonderful volunteers to work together for
one purpose - our children and our school.
